A pendulum is 'a weight hung from a fixed point so that it can swing freely back and forth.' Pendulums have been used as ancient divination tools for many, many years. The idea behind the pendulum is that it can bring subconscious energy into conscious awareness to give you the answers to questions you may have. They can help you gain insight by asking them yes or no questions.
Trust your pendulum. Initially, the pendulum can be carried and worn with you, so the pendulum gets to know you and your energy. To understand the language between you and your pendulum, questions are needed for the pendulum to respond to yes, no and maybe. By holding the pendulum by the chain, ask the pendulum to show you YES and the pendulum should sway back and forth, and you'll know that this is the movement for yes. Then ask to show you NO and the pendulum should sway side to side. Ask to show MAYBE and the pendulum should move in a circular movement. Questions need to be specific and clear.
There may be a time when the pendulum doesn't repond, due to not hearing you clearly, ask the question again but louder and clearer. The pendulum may not reply as well due to already answering your question previously.
One of the most important things is to not have an answer that you are already expecting from the pendulum. This can sway the answer so you want to go into your questions very cleansed and open minded.

The word “sigil” originates from the Latin word siggilum, which means seal.
Sigils are symbols or refined messages meant to reprogram our subconscious mind,
to manifest a desired intent.
Sigil magick is the use of symbols to manifest a specific desire or intention
All magick is the act of harnessing energy to manifest a specific desire or intention.
A sigil is a symbol you create with the intention of changing your reality in accordance with your will. All sigils are encoded with a specific purpose, for example, to attract a romantic partner, to set strong boundaries, to be more financially prosperous, to heal, – the possibilities are limitless. Sigils are used in a personal way to symbolically represent and manifest our own desires.
Sigil magic is a practice of creating sigils (or intention-charged symbols) to change your reality.
Those who practice sigil magic incorporate self-reflection, creativity, willpower, and ritual to manifest their desires.
As the language of the mind is symbolic, sigils basically ‘speak’ to your unconscious. Sigils are essentially like little seeds that are planted within the unconscious mind. Many things enter the depths of our minds, but not all of them are placed there intentionally or take root. What gives sigils their power is the energy and intention behind them – and that is what helps them to sprout and blossom into manifestation. The symbolic nature of the sigil also helps bypass the rational (skeptical) mind and enter the unconscious where the possibilities are endless.
Sigil magic is actually based on the process of creation and release. In other words, creating a sigil encourages surrender as much as it encourages desire. It involves releasing and intentionally forgetting about one’s initial desire. This process of letting go has two benefits.

Sigil Shapes
Sigil surroundings are shapes, designs, and/or glyphs you put around your sigil in order to enhance its magickal purpose.
The circle embodies the energies of protection, unity, cycles and focus. In sigil magick the most talked about, and used sigil surrounding is the circle. The magickal purpose of drawing a circle around your sigil is to allow its energy to build up around itself, and to protect the sigil from being tampered with.
The triangle represents the trinities, and embodies the energies of ascension, manifestation, and duality. Sigils surrounded by a right side up triangle will be much more expansive, and active, and sigils surrounded by a right side down triangle will lower the spiritual energy to a more tangible plane level, and make the sigil a lot more passive.
Triangles are also used in the act of manifesting spirits, and other entities. Being used in order to trap them, and to keep them away from you during the summoning, and manifestation. These type of triangles are usually a “Triangle Of Art”. The triangle part is use to magnify the strength of the spirit, while usually names of gods, or other sigils a place along the outside sides of the triangle to trap the spirit in.
Square embodies the energies of structure, balance, and community. Sigils surrounded with a square allows the sigil to be housed, and reserve its energy. It is for sigils that are used in more of a balanced state where its energy will be used more like a battery, and called upon. The square also allows the energy of the sigil to steep, and if there are more sigils, and/or magickal symbols in the square, their energies will combined together making a new, and unique energy.
The pentagram, and pentacle embodies the energies of the elements, power, and protection. Using the pentacle would also mean you would gain the magickal benefits of the circle also pretty much supercharging your sigil. Also the areas on the arms, legs , and head of the star could be used as a prime spot to place more sigils in order to enhance your original base sigil.
Sigil Creation
The are various ways to create sigils, but the most popular method is the Word Method
Word Method
Generating a magic sigil you will need to start with a phrase of desire, such as, “I want to win a million dollars” (always state this in the positive, not the negative, because the subconscious mind often ignores words like “not” which can cause you to get the opposite of what you intend). Then you eliminate the letters that appear twice, along with any vowels, and then arrange the remaining letters into a symbol.
Phrase your intentions like the desire would be already manifested to reinforce the desire.
I am …I need …I want …I wish …I desire …I win...I have...
For example:-I AM PROMOTED IN MY JOB. Remove double letters and vowels and you will be left with - MPRTDNJB – these are the letters you use for creating the symbol.
Using a witchboard, mark the corresponding letters to give you a symbol
You have now created your sigil.
Copy the symbol onto blank paper.
For the final sigil, you can draw a circle of protection around it, a square for stagnation or grounding, and even a triangle for manifesting. The sigil can be further simplified or expanded upon with other elements. Listening to one’s intuition and artistic license is what does the job.
If it looks magical, it is magical.
The best sigil feels strong, but not overly complex, so you don’t have a hard time imagining it firing into the divine universe. Some people recommend putting the sigil aside for a few days or weeks in order to forget it’s meaning. My experience was that I had the best results if I charged and fired the sigil immediately when the symbol was “still fresh”.
Charging the Sigil
Charging the symbol with will, desire, and energy -‐ in other words, it needs your attention and passion – the charge.
“Charging a sigil involves intensely focusing on the sigil while in deep and altered states of consciousness.”
Now meditation will help – do it before the charging the ritual, in order to open up the channels to your subconscious. The longer you will continue with the meditation exercise, the easier and more natural it will become to enter altered states of consciousness, and the results of your magic will become much stronger as a result.
During the sigil charging process, avoid thinking about the sentence of desire, or the meaning of the sigil, and keep focusing purely on the symbol itself. The whole act of charging and firing a sigil, requires non-‐ thinking, as much as it requires strong focus and concentration. This must be a peak experience that is full of emotions, and energy bursting from your solar plexus. Try to concentrate all of your energy and concentration on the symbol that you have in front of you on a piece of paper.
Firing and Disposal of Sigil
A sigil is fired by intense visualizing of the symbol and creating universal rapture through peak experience in gnosis, where we remove our conscious mind as much as possible. Ultimately, the goal is to get the symbol into the subconscious.
After the ritual, it is good to have a short meditation, in order to forget the ritual, and cleanse the mind completely, moving it into a point of positivity with everything, yet without thinking about it, or being attached to results.
The Sigil, after the ritual, should be disposed of so that the only remaining existence of it is in the universal mind. The paper with your sigil can be disposed of in many different ways. I personally prefer burning it (carefully and in a flame-‐proof dish) so that the smoke from the sigil works as an offering of its own. Other methods include shredding it to small pieces and throwing it away, burying it in the ground, flushing it down the toilet, or throwing it into the river. You can get very creative with this phase.
Its also a great idea to write down your experiences in a Journal, the method used for charging, firing, and the disposal method used at the end of the ritual, should all be written down together, with the date and your feelings about how it worked out.
Allow yourself permission to really let go and lose all self-‐control with this process, as the more extreme/peak experience it is – the better your results will be.
Talisman and Candle Magick
Sigils can be used in many different ways, and not just for charging and firing. It can be a general tool for turning words, ideas, wishes or names into symbols.
You can use it in connection with Candle magick, where you carve your sigil directly onto the candle, or place it underneath, as you are burning your magickal candle. You can also turn sigils into protective talismans that you wear on your person, or as part of a magickal mojo bag.
In general, they work with crystals, so you can wrap a sigil around a crystal, and again wear it, or stick it into a bag with herbs, charms, and other stones, or whatever is suitable for the cause.
Sigils can also be carved onto magickal objects, such as wands, or to protect magickal journals. You can also create a sigil in order to draw universal powers to something, and draw it on the cover, or the first page of your grimoire, in order to give your own workings a bit more juice. Or mark the box you keep your magickal paraphernalia inside of, so your magickal tools will keep charging and cleansing.
This is where sigils, generally considered as a low magick tool, can be used as a tool for higher magick, and more complex rituals.
Sigils can also be burnt as offerings to spirits and gods. The possibilities are endless, and your only limitation is your imagination, which is why sigils are extremely versatile.
Spells involve using words and symbolic numbers that are thought to have innate power, with natural or man-made material objects, and ritual actions performed by a person or with other participants. A spell or incantation is believed to draw power from spiritual deities to accomplish magick. Knowledge of spells or symbolic numbers is often occult, and the possessor of such knowledge can be either greatly admired or feared. In some cases, a spell is the most highly regarded component of the magickal rite or ceremony.
Spells/incantations are a written or recited formula of words designed to produce a particular effect with repetitive sounds or syllables to achieve an ecstatic state of contact with spiritual forces or an enlightened state of consciousness.
By casting a spell, you are performing an act of activating a change or movement in the universe in a path where you desire change. In order to achieve the goal, it’s significant to show your dedication which includes your focus, energy and effort that you put in performing the ritual. In addition, you must show your gratitude to the Higher Self or Deity at the end of each session.
Giving them thanks for their connection and for positively changing your life.
The secret of this realm is to have balance with your
subconscious mind and true purposes of your Higher Self.
Make sure you are extremely clear about what you truly want
when setting your intentions or the spell can backfire.
Casting spells you need to believe in your spell. You will need to feel empowered when doing it. The power will help make things you wish for come true. Initially, spellcasters align with their inner self with meditaiton. If magick spells are not associated with your inner intentions as well as forward action, they are just worthless.
Using spells and rituals can bring more opportunities to your life; it’s your decision to grab those opportunities and achieve what you crave for. Your efforts and patience will be worth the wait if you put great faith in the spell and stay concentrated throughout the session.
Two key elements for effective magick spells are BELIEF and FOCUS.
An altar is used to add the tools needed for spells you are working on. Adding statues of your spiritual deities, elemental items - candles, incense, water and salt, potions, and much more
Some spells require particular objects to strengthen the magickal power. You don’t have to purchase expensive items for your magick. Some ingredients that can be used can be items that are around the house like paper, honey, herbs (cinnamon, black pepper, and other spices), and essential oils.
Candles are used to enhance the general power of a spell.
Potions can be made by using cauldrons or the use of your cooking pots in the kitchen. Tools maintain energy; therefore, you must regularly cleanse them so they will always be magickal.
The one true rule of spell casting is that you should not cast a malicious curse or any spell with bad intentions on others. It’s never good to bring harm to another person, even if they are your enemy. Due to the laws of attraction, wicked things you cast on others will return to you with three times more power. Magick works based on the karmic principle. If you are still hesitant about whether or not you should cast a spell, DON'T.

The Ifá is more of a spiritual system which is based on the belief in these three components: Olodumare (the Creator of heaven and earth), Orisa (Nature Spirits), and the ancestors.
Ifá is a spiritual and natural world. The spiritual world is where Oludumare and Orisa live and the natural world is where human beings, plants, and animals live. It is through prayer, divination, spiritual procession and sacrifice that human beings can engage the spiritual world. The belief in the ancestors is an essential aspect of the Ifá system. We must respect our ancestors as there is a spiritual bond between the ancestors and the living family. These ancestors are referred to as the living dead.
The most important part of the Ifá practice is the divination. According to the worship of Ifá, it reveals divinity and prophecy to the world.
