What is a Kinesiologist?
A Kinesiologist uses holistic health disciplines which use the gentle art of muscle monitoring to access information about a person's well-being. It combines techniques and wisdom to promote physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.
Kinesiology is a form of therapy that uses muscle monitoring (biofeedback) to look at imbalances that may be causing disease in the body. Kinesiology aims to detect and correct imbalances related to stress, nutrition or minor injuries.

The technique used is called the "Emotional freedom technique" (EFT), which is an alternative treatment for physical pain and emotional distress. It's also referred to as Tapping or psychological acupressure. People who use this technique believe tapping the body can create a balance in your energy system and treat pain.

The Procedure
It requires you to focus on the negative emotion at hand: a fear or anxiety, a bad memory, an unresolved problem, or anything that's bothering you.
While maintaining your mental focus on this issue, the kinesiologist will use her fingertips to tap 5-7 times each on 12 of the body's meridian points. Tapping on these meridian points – while concentrating on accepting and resolving the negative emotion – will access your body's energy, restoring it to a balanced state.

What are meridians?
Simple, it's your energy circulating through your body along with a specific network of channels. You can tap into this energy at any point along with the system. Literally tapping into your body's energy and healing power.
